Neon Green Orange Flash Ammolite Oxidized Sterling Silver 14K Gold Textured Pendant Necklace

This pendant was hand fabricated from sterling silver sheet metal and 14K gold wire. It features a natural ammolite stone, bezel set in fine silver serrated wire. Ammolite is an iridescent, gem-quality material cut from the fossilized shells of extinct sea creatures known as ammonites and is only found in Canada. This stone is predominantly bright green with some orange/yellow flash. I gave the stone setting a border with a heavy texture using a stamp. Three 14K gold dots, created from melting wire and hammering them flat, were added as accents. The metal was oxidized. Hung from a delicate, oxidized sterling silver wheat chain.

The pendant is 1.38" in length and .75" in width. The wheat chain is 1.3 mm in width and 18" in length.
